PhD Student Chemistry
Fizza Haseeb joined the InLightenUs project in 2021 having been awarded the highly competitive HEC Pakistan scholarship to study at the University of Edinburgh. As part of InLightenUs she is working on hydrogel-based medical phantoms for optical imaging.
She did her Masters in from Pakistan. During her Biochemistry master’s research project, at PMAS Arid Agriculture University, she worked on expression analysis of NOD2 gene in active Tuberculosis patients. Through her research in InLightenUs, she aims to play her part in improving early detection capabilities of medical imaging.
