Dr Jingtian Zhang is currently a post-doctoral research fellow in computer science at the University of Nottingham. He received his PhD degree from the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at Northumbria University, U.K., as well as his MSc and BEng degrees from the University of Sheffield, UK and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China.

His research interests include computer vision, computer graphics, motion analysis and machine learning. His current role in InLightenUs project is to support the investigators (Dr Andrew Parkes and Dr Mercedes Torres Torres) in developing research objectives and proposals and conducting research in the area machine learning and optimisation for the diagnosis of medical conditions using hyperspectral imagery.
